Restaurant & Lounge Supervisor - Responsible for providing leadership to the Menlo Grill Bistro, Bar and In-Room Dining associates while ensuring the ultimate guest experience. He/she will be responsible for greeting and seating guests while providing guidance and support to the staff to ensure all standards of service are being followed. Previous experience in an upscale food and beverage operation is preferred. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must also be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays. Experience with Micros is a plus.

Menlo Grill Food Servers - Responsible for providing excellent service to the patrons of the Menlo Grill restaurant, including taking orders, delivering food and accommodating guest requests. Must have 2+ years serving experience as well as strong food and wine knowledge. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Knowledge of Micros and Open Table is preferred. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Menlo Grill Server Assistant - This individual is responsible for setting and clearing tables in the Menlo Grill, as well as assisting the restaurant servers as needed. Previous experience is preferred. He/she must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Menlo Grill Host/Hostess - Responsible for seating and greeting guests in the dining room in a friendly and courteous manner and taking reservations and Room Service orders when necessary. Must have excellent verbal communication skills. Must be able to work holidays and weekends. Previous experience is preferred.

Bartender - We are in search of a talented Bartender to prepare, mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and food to patrons in the Lounge. Must be able to effectively communicate in English and must also be proficient with POS. The ideal candidate will have three or more years experience in an upscale food and beverage environment and a passion for great food. He/she should also be friendly and upbeat, with a true passion for serving others. A flexible schedule is a must, including the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Menlo Grill Bar Server - Serves food & alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to patrons of the Lounge to ensure the Hotel's high quality standards are met. Must have 2+ years prior service experience. Must have excellent customer service skills and must be able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner. Must have strong food and beverage knowledge. Micros and Open table experience is preferred. Must be able to work nights, holidays and weekends.

Barista - This individual will prepare and serve coffee beverages in a professional and courteous manner to patrons of the Lounge at the Park while ensuring the hotel's high quality standards are met. The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills and must be able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner. He/she must have strong food and beverage knowledge. Micros and Open Table experience is preferred. This position requires working early mornings- some schedule flexibility is required.

Menlo Grill Sous Chef - This person will assist in overseeing all culinary operations of the Menlo Grill to include the Bistro, Bar and In-Room Dining. The ideal Sous Chef candidate will have 3+ years supervisory experience in an upscale restaurant. This candidate must also have a culinary degree or equivalent schooling. He/she must be hands-on, technically strong, possess strong administrative and interpersonal skills and must have excellent leadership skills to assist in managing all culinary operations. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Line Cooks - Prepares sauces, dressing and preps food needed in the Menlo Grill to meet high quality food standards. Sets-up, restocks and maintains food preparation areas, while adhering to recipes including specific knife cuts and correct cooking procedures. Will also cooks meals according to individual tickets according to specification, in addition to assisting with some Banquet events. Must be able to work nights and weekends. Must be able to communicate in English. 2+ years Culinary experience is required.

Stewards - Responsible for running the dish machine and washing all pots and pans, as well as all other equipment as necessary. This person also maintain the Kitchen area, ensuring it is kept clean and assisting in the breaking down of all product deliveries. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.

On-Call Banquet Server - He/she will set up banquet rooms and will serve food and/or beverage in a friendly, courteous and professional manner according to the hotel's high standards of quality. Must have excellent customer service skills and must be able to communicate effectively in a friendly and professional manner. Bartending experience is a plus. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, holidays and weekends.

 


 

Guest Services Manager (F/T) (1)
He/she will effectively manage the Front Office, including the Front Desk, Bell, Night Auditors and Valet staff by providing quality service to the guest while providing leadership and motivation to the associates. He/she will train new associates to the Front Office. He/she will also address guest complaints, conducting thorough research to develop the most effective solutions. He/she will work with the Front Office Manager to take action to resolve the problem and to ensure that the situation has been handled properly. Previous Front Office experience is required. The ideal individual will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to multi-task and will take the initiative in all guest relations issues and/or guest requests. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Bell Person (F/T) (1)
He/she will assist guests with their luggage and will deliver all guest faxes and packages. He/she will also drive the hotel shuttle, will be responsible for taking, preparing and delivering room service orders and will patrol the hotel and its grounds throughout their shift. The ideal candidate must have a clean DMV record and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Bus Person (P/T- PM) (1)
This individual is responsible for setting and clearing tables in the Duck Club, as well as assisting the restaurant servers as needed. Previous experience is preferred. He/she must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Daytime Bell Person (Full Time)
He/she will assist guests with their luggage and will distribute all guest faxes and special deliveries. He/she will also drive the hotel shuttle, will be responsible for taking, preparing and delivering room service orders and will patrol the hotel and its grounds throughout their shift. He/she will work two graveyard and three daytime Bell Person shifts per week. The ideal candidate must have a clean DMV record and must be able to multi-task with limited supervision.

Guest Service Agent (F/T) (1)
Responsible for checking guests in/out in a friendly and courteous manner while ensuring all of the guests' expectations are exceeded. Also responsible for answering all external and internal calls in a professional, friendly and courteous manner. Must have excellent verbal communication skills to include speaking clearly and in a professional tone of voice. He/she will also assist guests with special requests and concierge services. Previous hotel experience is preferred. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Relief Night Auditor (P/T) (1) - As a Night Auditor, he/she will be responsible for assisting guests and will run all end of business day transactions and reports. He/she will check guests in and out at the Front Desk, as well as answer all incoming calls during the overnight shift. He/she will work up to three graveyard Night Audit shifts per week. Previous hotel front office experience is preferred. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task with limited supervision.
